Cement Jali Price in Pakistan: What Decides It
Cement jali sells per piece (not per sq ft like tuff tiles). Three things decide the price:
- Design openness — open patterns need more concrete and harder molds than tight geometric ones.
- Size — bigger block = more material. Always compare the same size; a small cheap block needs more pieces per wall.
- Solid color vs coating — the biggest price gap. Solid-through-color blocks (color inside the concrete) cost more to make but never fade. Cheap spray-coated jali loses its color in 6–12 months of sun and rain.

3 Quality Checks Before You Pay
- Solid color test — scratch the edge or look at a broken piece. If the inside is grey and only the surface is colored, it is a coating — it will peel within a year. Solid jali has the same color all through.
- Even lattice thickness — the bars of the lattice should be uniformly thick. Thin or broken bars mean worn-out molds and break in transport.
- Breakage policy — jali is delicate. Ask who replaces broken pieces. Factory-direct loading means fewer breakages.
